Kecak Dance . The dance portrays of Ramayana
classical legend, the tale of King Rama, his
wife Dewi Sinta and his brother Laksamana, who
are banished to the forest for 14 years following
some multifaceted scheming in a struggle for
supremacy.
In the forest. Rahwana the tyrant King in the
forest persecutes them and than abducts Dewi
Sinta and put her to prison of his palace.
Rama attacks Rahwana with the help of monkey
people commanded by Hanoman, whose army defeats
Rahwana’s troops and making it possible
for king Rama to set free Dewi Sinta.
In performance, hundred dancers play the monkey
army while a several girls dancers are playing
specific roles.

caves to guard the temple from the intruders
